Risk Management Research On The Software Project Of FW Company

In the practices of an enterprise,the development and management of the software project are a system engineering closely related to manpower,resource,technology,management and so on,which is risky in some way.So the objective of the risk management of the project is to reduce the uncertainties and the losses to the project so as to increase the likelihood of success that the project seeks.Obviously,the research concerning risk management of developing software projects is of great significance.In this article,we focus on the software project of FW Company,which is a high-tech enterprise mainly engaged in the research and development,sales and maintenance of collaborative office software system platform.So the software project studied in this paper is actually the one of FW Company's.The risk management of the company is a management process covering the full life cycle of the software project,from the start of the project approval to the completion of the payment,including four stages:starting,planning,execution and handover.Firstly,we used the brainstorming method and the exert meeting method to identify the risk factors existing in the development and management processes of the entire software project and the risk factors of each stage are also sorted out and classified into 8 categories.Then,the questionnaire method was used to collect data on risk factors at all stages of the company's software project.The weight of the risk type and those in each of the four stages of the project were determined in combination with the hierarchical analysis method.Then we used risk coefficient method to analyze the specific evaluation of each risk factor in the project of FW Company and identified the factors of each risk level,their numbers and the corresponding types.Finally,according to the identified medium and above risk factors,we have put forward specific,reasonable and effective strategies or measures to cope with the risks.The research on the risk management of the software of FW Company will help to build the comprehensive risk management system for it and effectively reduce the losses caused by the various uncertain risk factors by tracking up and controlling the risks and thus ensure the smooth development and management of the software project.It is also helpful to rationally allocate and optimize enterprise resources and reduce waste and thus reduce the costs of the development and management for the software project.
