At present,spectrum resources are gradually being developed towards high frequency.There are three atmospheric windows in the millimeter wave band.The smaller atmospheric loss is suitable for testing electromagnetic energy transmission and reflection characteristics.The millimeter wave technology is widely used in the military field currently,especially the millimeter wave detection radar.The research content of this thesis is based on the application of the actual smoke bomb concentration calibration.In order to test the characteristics of the smoke bomb concentration and material properties on the energy attenuation of electromagnetic waves,the RF front-end of the W-band interference efficiency test system is designed and developed.The RF front-end working frequency of the test equipment is 93.6GHz,and it works with TTL pulse modulation signal.For the systematic design,according to the design indicators proposed by the subject,this thesis studies the two link directions of transmit and receive,and considers the two test modes of far-field and near-field to design and develop.Through the decomposition of design indicators,and considering the convenience of integration and debugging,each working module is divided for design.During chip selection,Comprehensively consider cost and performance to select various chips,and finally debug and improve each module of the design to meet the design requirements.After the whole system is integrated,the test results meet the index requirements.The outdoor test transmit power of the RF front-end of the W-band interference efficiency test system finally developed can reach 25 d Bm,and the indoor test transmit power can reach 10 d Bm.93.6GHz transmit phase noise can reach-72.75 d Bc/Hz@1k Hz,-79.89 d Bc/Hz@10k Hz,-84.66 d Bc/Hz@100k Hz.The receiving gain is 60 d B controllable and can reach a maximum of 100 d B,and the noise figure of the millimeter wave receiving module is 5.2d B,which meets the design specifications.
