The research of shallow surface target detection system has a wide application prospect.In the military field,uncleared unexploded ordnance in the shooting range,battlefield and postwar area will bring great security problems.In the civil field,various unknown underground targets are not conducive to the exploitation of land resources.Therefore,it is of great significance to develop an efficient signal processing system integrating transmitting,receiving,processing and positioning.This paper mainly completed the design and implementation of shallow surface target detection signal processing system based on Field Programmable Gate Array(FPGA).Firstly,the paper introduces the research background,research status at home and abroad and the main work of the paper.Secondly,the correlation algorithm theory in signal processing system is introduced.Thirdly,the overall design scheme of the signal processing system is presented according to the system requirements,and the algorithm flow and hardware scheme of the signal processing system are introduced respectively.Then,the hardware of the detection signal processing system for shallow surface targets is designed and simulated according to the scheme,including the design of excitation signal generation module,front-end conditioning circuit module,analog-to-digital Converter(ADC)sampling module,core processor module,Ethernet communication module,clock module,power module,as well as the design and simulation of Printed Circuit Board(PCB).Finally,a debugging platform is built to test the signal processing system and analyze the results.The test results show that the performance of FPGA-based signal processing system for detecting shallow surface targets meets the requirements,and the detection ability of weak signals measured in system debugging reaches 1uV.
