The article designed and realized a high-performance signal-processing hardware platform in a FPGA(field programmable gate array), based on SOPC Technology. aiming at the multi-function signal-processing system for millimeter-wave radar in flight environment.The system has a tight cooperation with the forepart-radar in time, and utilizes the information of high-distinguished echo and Doppler frequency to classify the target. The complex timing of forepart-radar, and the complexity of target-classifying algorithm, So the aim of system design is efficiency and real time performance.SOPC(System on a Programmable Chip) system combine the advantage of embedded system with that of FPGA, offers a new method to implement high performance digital system. The paper, integrating the feature of targets recogenise algorithm, employs the hardware/software co-design method, implement a design of radar targets recognise system. Furthermore, it Produces a complete flow, methods, and key technology of SOPC design.According to the system need, the paper analyzed the process and algorithm of target-recognition, carry on the soft hard demarcation to the system. Expound the whole process of hardware and algorithm IP design. Make use of the user definition instruction to accelerating the executing of complicated algorithm. Using the built-in logic analyzes technique of the SignlTap â…¡ to analyzed the logic problem contacted with and give the solution to them. Finally, summarized the article pointed out the contents of the further research.
