Research On Children's Bestsellers Of China In Recent Ten Years(2010-2019)

Children's best sellers often reflect children's reading preference in a period of time.Based on the top 10 of the open book children's bestsellers monthly list from 2010 to 2019,this paper combs 1200 bibliographies,extracts 325 books actually on the list,and uses the methods of statistical analysis,literature analysis and case analysis to study the books on the list,so as to find out the Publishing Rules of children's bestsellers,grasp the pulse of the times of children's bestsellers,and enrich the relevant theories of children's bestsellers.The article includes six chapters: introduction,the countries and types of children's bestsellers in recent ten years,the authors and publishing institutions of children's bestsellers in recent ten years,the topic selection of children's bestsellers in recent ten years,the reasons for children's bestsellers in recent ten years,the problems existing in the publication of children's bestsellers and the Countermeasures for improvement.In the past ten years,Japan,Britain and the United States have become the main importing countries of children's books in China.Domestic children's readers love children's literature;foreign picture books are on the list from time to time,and picture book reading and parent-child reading become a fashion;domestic original picture books with traditional culture and folk customs as the theme are favored by readers.The brand effect of star writers is significant,and the writers of series books and old classic single books stay on the list.Head publishing companies occupy an advantage in the children's best-selling book market,and children's publishing houses perform well;professional and comprehensive publishing houses occupy a place in the field of children's best-selling books by combining their own advantages.Campus growth,reasoning and adventure,fantasy stories become popular topics in children's best-selling books;warm painting,leisure and entertainment books emerge;the frequency of films and games in the same period is reduced.Most children's best-selling books meet the psychological needs of children's readers,and have certain educational attributes;the writers of children's best-selling books adhere to the positive and optimistic value orientation,and create works in line with children's personality characteristics with children's standard writing techniques.The serialization of children's books published by publishing institutions greatly enhances the competitiveness of books;the introduction of high-quality works makes the best-selling books become classic and popular works;the innovation of binding and layout forms changes the traditional flat,static and one-way reading mode,which makes it possible for the smooth sale of new children's books.Multi media publicity breaks the barriers of information,and multi-channel distribution makes it easier for books to be delivered to consumers.National policies influence reading needs,and parents are more willing to buy books.There are some problems in the publishing of children's books in recent ten years.Children's literature styles are too concentrated;children's science popularization originality is insufficient;the monopoly of top writers on the best seller list has squeezed the living space of new writers in children's book market,and suppressed their creativity and enthusiasm;the publishing industry has the problems of unclear copyright division and copyright waste.In order to make the children's book market more prosperous and healthy,publishers,editors and authors should make great efforts to publish more poems,essays,nursery rhymes and fables to enrich the children's literature genre.Editors should pay more attention to the topic selection of popular science books.At present,it is urgent for children's book industry to cultivate new writers and break the monopoly market of leading writers,and it is feasible to build a team of high-quality writers and translators.The publishing house should clarify the ownership of copyright when signing the contract.After obtaining the copyright,it should make a reasonable copyright operation plan for the works,develop a variety of operation modes,realize full copyright operation,and strive to achieve cross-border communication.
