| "China's Century News Classics : Volume Cartoons"(hereinafter referred to as "Cartoons")is a collection of classic news cartoons book selected and edited by China Association for documentaries and published by people's Publishing House in 2013.It is also a research achievement of a project specially commissioned by the National Social Science Fund.Most of the 100 selected comics have been published in various newspapers and magazines in China since 1898,and some of them have appeared for the first time in various comic exhibitions.The collected works are undoubtedly classic in terms of the significance of the times,the ideological connotation,the level of creation and the social influence.“Cartoons” adheres to the guiding principle of "the same structure of subject and object,the unity of humanity" and the editing standard of "important events,typical characters,great significance and far-reaching influence".Not only has the model function in the text sense,the recorded news events have the significance of the times,but also the ideological value and artistic power are constantly influencing future generations.The themes of comics come from the hot real life.They are the artistic expression of important factual information and conceptual information at that time.They can be divided into four categories:revolution and war,politics,ideology and culture,and social life.These themes can become the choice of cartoonists' creation,mainly because these themes not only reflect the theme of the times of the creator,but also are concerned by the general public,and also have conflicts in fact or concept,which can be fascinating and enlightening.In a sense,the collection of these comic themes is a vivid reflection of modern Chinese history.Each work of “Cartoons” has its own characteristics and charm,but on the whole,it presents certain commonalities,which are in fact the classics of comic news works.In depth study of the success of these news comics classics,whether for the selection and processing of news comics theme,the artistic presentation of news comics,or for the construction of news comics talent team has enlightenment significance.In the practice of news cartoon creation,we should not only pay attention to grasp the news value,social value and artistic value of news cartoon theme in material selection,but also enhance the artistic appeal of works from multiple perspectives and form innovation.The cultivation of news cartoon talents must adhere to the combination of "general" and "professional",and pay attention to the synchronous improvement of political quality,historical and cultural cultivation,and artistic quality.Only in this way can such news cartoon talents undertake the heavy responsibility of the times and create news cartoon classics. |
