The Integration Of VR And And News

The paper selects CCTV-network's "VR Immersion News" channel as the research object,using case method,statistical analysis method and text analysis method to analyze the practice of CCTV-network's VR news.On this basis,it summarizes the news performance under VR support and the limitations of VR operation under news norms.Based on data,the paper analyzes the performance of CCTV-network VR news in terms of types,themes and narrative perspectives,finds that the current types of CCTC-network VR news are mainly 360 degree panoramic news;news themes are mainly focused on"culture and education theme" and "entertainment theme";audience narrative perspectives are mainly "omniscient perspective".Based on the case study of CCTV-network VR news,the paper finds that VR technology not only brings a new way of production pattern and reception to news,but also limits the choice of news topics and types of events.In production pattern,with 360 degree 360 degree panorama display and multi-clue narrative mode,VR news provides the audience more comprehensive content;in terms of reception mode,through the first-person perspective and the omniscient perspective,the audience can into the "presence" of news,and the involvement of communicators is greatly weakened.However,due to VR's preference for scene display rather than fact narration,the theme of VR news has been limited:the news based on display scenes and the news biased on leisure and entertainment are more suitable for VR;due to the long production time and high production cost,the event types of VR news are limited:predictable news and non-event news more suitable for VR.From the perspective of News Theory,this paper analyzes the limitations of VR operation on news norms:the principle of "News Authenticity" limits the virtual reality function and interactive operation of VR news;the Objectivity of News and the requirements of News Ethics limit the immersion degree of VR news.
