Abstract/Summary:
Wireless Sensor Networks(WSN)is often used in environments that are difficult for humans to reach,and there are many sensor nodes in the network,and some later maintenance work is not easy to carry out.When the battery power of the sensor node is exhausted,it is difficult to replace it again.Therefore,to ensure the long-term normal operation of WSN,energy saving is a factor that must be considered.This paper optimizes the energy usage of WSN based on the SEP clustering protocol.By reducing and equalizing the energy consumption of WSN,the working time of WSN is increased and the service life of WSN is prolonged.The research work of this article mainly includes the following aspects:(1)The structure,composition,related technologies and application fields of WSN are studied,with emphasis on the routing protocol and topology control of WSN,and the basic principles,advantages and disadvantages of the classic LEACH,HEED,and SEP protocols are studied.(2)In view of the less restrictive conditions in the cluster head selection process of the SEP protocol,an improved cluster head election mechanism based on multiple factors is proposed;in addition,since the SEP protocol is running,the nodes in the cluster that are far away Data transmission consumes high energy,and a scheme is proposed to indirectly transmit data to nodes with longer distances and less energy.Simulation shows that this scheme can effectively delay the appearance of the first failed node and balance the energy consumption in the network.(3)In view of the problem that redundant data is easily generated due to densely distributed nodes in WSN,an improved data fusion scheme based on the K-means algorithm is adopted at the cluster head,and the collected data is fused at the cluster head Processing to reduce the amount of data that the cluster head node needs to transmit to the sink node.Simulation shows that this scheme can achieve the purpose of saving network energy consumption and prolonging network life.
