In recent years,wireless sensor network(WSN)technology has continuously made breakthroughs,and its application scenarios are becoming more and more diverse.However,due to the limited resources of WSN,there are still some problems in the application of WSN,such as network energy consumption,network capacity and so on.This paper mainly studies and improves the Directed Diffusion(DD)routing protocol so that the improved protocol has a better energy consumption level and larger network capacity than the original DD protocol.The main research work and results of this paper are as follows:(1)The architecture,node structure and communication protocol stack structure of WSN are studied;the working principles and shortcomings of different protocols in WSN are studied;the basic principles of DD routing protocol and network coding technology are analyzed,and the characteristics,research status and problems of WSN are summarized.(2)Based on the DD protocol,the NCSF-DD model is proposed.The improved model introduces network coding technology in the interest diffusion and gradient establishment stage to improve the amount of information in a single data forwarding.At the same time,in the application environment of multi-source nodes,the idea of source node fusion is adopted to reduce the redundant links and redundant data in the process of data transmission.The simulation results show that the improved model can effectively improve the network capacity and prolong the service life of the network.(3)Considering the importance of energy saving in WSN,an improved dynamic programming algorithm based on energy saving is proposed.The idea of DP is applied to the selection of next-hop node in the path strengthening stage,and a new routing metric based on energy level is adopted.In the stage of interest diffusion,the diffusion method based on propagation angle is adopted to narrow the propagation range of flooding diffusion method,thereby further reducing energy consumption.The simulation results show that the improved protocol has a good improvement in the level of energy consumption and energy balance.
