At present, WSN crossed by many subjects are the advanced research hotspot field in the international area. The number of sensor nodes in WSN is numerous and a single node is extraordinarily limited in resources, so the important aim of designing routing protocol of WSN is to load energy and reduce the energy in the WSN.This thesis analyzes the LEACH routing algorithm, finding the problem of the imbalance in energy. An energy balancing distributed clustering algorithm for wireless sensor networks is proposed to solve the problem of imbalance in energy load for clustering algorithms. In the algorithm, a method of rotating cluster head is adopted and a method of evaluating a node's current energy level according to the local information of its cluster during every round is proposed. For each node, it can make its threshold according to it s current energy level so as to adjust its probability of becoming cluster head in the next round. The result of simulation shows that these strategies can make the whole network energy consumption more balanced the system life time as possible.Based on the above research, The thesis analyzes Directed Diffusion in depth, A clustering and directed diffusion hybrid routing algorithm for wireless sensor networks is proposed to solve the problem of efficient use of energy. In the algorithm, the senor nodes are divided into a lot of clusters, the proposed build minimum and optimum communication path in Inter-cluster. So the data is transmitted to sink in shortest time.At last, based on the analyzing of the principle and structure of OPNET, Commixture Routing Algorithm is implemented in OPNET. The simulation results demonstrate that Commixture Routing Algorithm is capable of distributing energy dissipation more effectively among the sensor nodes and achieves an improvement on the network lifetime compared with LEACH .
