With the continuous progress of science and technology and the rapid development of the Internet,the development of the publishing house,as the traditional enterprise body of the book publishing industry,has been severely impacted.Therefore,if the publishing house wants to develop,it must seek breakthroughs in reform and innovation.With the continuous improvement of the cognitive level of the leaders of modern publishing enterprises,the managers of the company are increasingly aware of the importance of the performance assessment of grass-roots staff.For a company,a good performance appraisal system can well mobilize the enthusiasm of employees,enhance their creative ability,and give full play to their dynamic role,so as to improve the operation efficiency and overall performance of the whole company.On the basis of expounding the concept and theory of performance appraisal,this paper analyzes the current status of performance appraisal of grass-roots staff in People's Oriental Publishing and Media Co.,Ltd.,a company transformed into a private enterprise.The performance appraisal system of the company follows the original system of public institutions.There are problems such as insufficient cognition of performance appraisal,lack of fairness in performance appraisal and unreasonable setting of indicators,which cannot meet the development needs of the company in today's social environment.Editorial staff is the basic component and core productivity of the staff of the publishing house.If the publishing house wants to stand out from the whole publishing industry,it must stimulate the enthusiasm of the editorial staff,improve the working efficiency,and provide continuous high-quality publications for the development of the publishing house.Based on people's Oriental publishing media co.,LTD.,the current performance evaluation system,through the balanced scorecard method,based on the editorial staff for company personnel at the grass-roots level research subject,by using the method of literature study,questionnaire and analytic hierarchy,the selection of key performance indicators and set up corresponding scientific index weight,and then optimize the grass-roots staff performance appraisal system,at the same time,to ensure that the system can effectively implement the corresponding guarantee measures are put forward.It is hoped that through the study on the optimization of the performance appraisal system for the grass-roots staff of People's Oriental Publishing and Media,the performance management level of People's Oriental Publishing and Media Co.,Ltd.can be improved,which will provide a boost for the development of the enterprise.Meanwhile,it can also play a certain reference role for the construction of the grass-roots staff performance appraisal system of other publishing enterprises in the future.
