Manufacturing production capacity directly reflects the productivity level of a country and region,and the central region has always played an important role in the development of the national manufacturing industry,playing an active role in consolidating the foundation of the real economy and the development of the national economy.In the history of China's manufacturing industry,Jiangxi's manufacturing industry has left a strong and colorful mark.The article takes the manufacturing industry of Jiangxi Province as the research object based on six central provinces,and uses the projection tracing model to construct a four-dimensional evaluation index system including economic efficiency,scale efficiency,scientific research efficiency and ecological efficiency,and subdivides the evaluation index system into secondary indicators and specific indicators.The results show that the competitiveness index of manufacturing industry in Jiangxi Province ranks fifth among the six central provinces,which is in the third echelon and has a weak competitiveness.Based on the analysis of the results,it is concluded that there are four problems in Jiangxi manufacturing industry,such as uneven industrial development,insufficient factor input,weak innovation ability and backward technology level.Finally,based on the existing problems from 4 aspects such as economic development,scale improvement,scientific and technological research and development,ecological protection,etc.,specific countermeasures and suggestions are put forward for the manufacturing industry in Jiangxi Province to lead high-quality development and reshape the glory of Jiangxi manufacturing industry.
