With the rapid development and popularization of the Internet,media integration is deepening,which urges more traditional media to further adapt to the new environment and new trends,focusing on adjusting industrial structure,strengthening resource integration,strengthening user participation and interaction,and realizing the transformation and upgrading of the media industry.In order to promote the employees of current media enterprises to adapt to new positions in the process of media integration development,how to promote the improvement and progress of employees' ability through performance management,establish the ideological concept of media integration development,and build the talent structure,training mechanism and performance appraisal system matched with media integration,so as to effectively explore and solve the problems that media enterprises will encounter.Human resources are important production resources for the development of media industry,and the performance management of media enterprises can fully excavate human resources and achieve organizational strategic goals,which has a very important role and significance.The domestic media industry presents cultural,political,economic and other attributes,which not only has the functions of propaganda and entertainment,but also has the economic function of creating value.Therefore,for media enterprises,performance management has a key impact on strategic business development.In this paper,through the collection and arrangement of literature on media integration and performance management at home and abroad,it provides theoretical reference for in-depth study.By analyzing the impact of media convergence on the traditional media industry in the new media era,combined with the practical analysis of specific cases,this paper analyzes some problems existing in the performance management of media companies under the background of media convergence,such as unreasonable setting of performance appraisal indicators,etc.Taking X Media Company as an example,a questionnaire survey and interview were conducted to explore the shortcomings of the company's performance management,and a brand-new performance appraisal index system was constructed by using target management method,balanced scorecard method and key performance index method,hoping to optimize and improve the company's performance management and provide reference for the performance management of media companies in the same field.
