Design And Implementation Of Key Performance Indicator System Based On Platform Of Telecom Business Analysis

As the gradual development of information construction build for telecom operators, each telecom operator has built a good data warehouse system step by step, and has made business data analysis, data mining and applications above the system to provide some decision-making support for the enterprise managers. So, establishing a strong Key Performance Indicators (KPI) System is becoming one of the most important works in the construction of Telecom Management in analysis system.It designed and implemented a KPI Analysis System based on business analysis using by Shaanxi telecom. This paper mainly discusses three objects below: First, this paper discusses the limitation of traditional ETL technique and make improvements, Analyzes the important meaning in building KPI module in Telecom Management. Introduces the structure and business characteristics of Telecom Management and Analysis System, which are based on data warehouse technology; Second, this paper designed the frame of Key Performance Indicators (KPI) system. Based on the design above, this paper designed the model of concept ,data ,ETL processing; Third, discussing how to use data warehouse technology and popular software framework technology to implement KPI module in Telecom Management and Analysis System.The result of this paper has been applied in KPI module of second period Telecom Management and Analysis System of some telecom operators in China, and the application effect is good, and this application experience will bring a useful way to build other decision-making applications in the whole data warehouse.
