With the development of the Internet and the popularity of mobile smart phones,the expression channels of ordinary people in the public discourse system are constantly enriched.Kwai tiktok,a short video platform represented by jitter,fast hand and watermelon,has sprung up a lot of short video content that is produced by rural China in the past few years,which is rough and content free.It displays the content of rural space,culture and characters.This kind of video content is called "short video of local flavor".In order to win the audience's attention,this phenomenon often presents a typical phenomenon of "spectacle".This article aims to explore the cultural logic behind the phenomenon of the short viewing video and to reflect on the phenomenon of the short video in China.This paper first defines the concept of short video,and briefly classifications of short videos.Then,from the three aspects of the spectacular presentation of the short video,the cultural logic of the short flavor of the short video,the reflection of the short view of the local flavor,and the reflection of the spectacle,we analyze the spectacle of the short video.In the first part,the four aspects of the short video of the local flavor are discussed from the following aspects: the short video,the audio-visual spectacle,the narrative spectacle,the interactive spectacle and the consumption spectacle.From the content of the short video of the local flavor,the characters,scenes and music of the short flavor video produced the audio-visual wonders of the short video,which greatly stimulated the sensory experience of the audience and realized the viral transmission of the content.From the platform of the short video of the soil,with the development of media technology,the audience could comment at any time,and the messenger could get timely.Feedback has greatly enhanced the interactive experience of both sides.Netizens can gather together to temporarily put aside all their worries and realize the "community Carnival" of a specific group.From the perspective of the creation of short videos,the short video of the earth uses the narrative method of the popularization and individualization to the extreme.Through the creation of spectacle images,short videos attract the audience's attention.In the follow-up,they realize their core appeal of spectacle and attraction "realization" through live broadcast and sales.The second part,from the development of media technology,the short history of video,the self presentation psychology of creator,the resistance of youth subculture to mainstream culture,and the conspiracy of consumerism and short video,explores the reasons for the rise and development of the short video spectacle.With the development of media technology,the masses at the bottom also have the opportunity to "voicing" on the media platform,which is the fundamental reason for the rising of the wonders of the short video.The bottom masses' desire for self presentation and self display in the short video network and the pursuit of economic value in the audio-visual era relying on individual characteristics for economic value have promoted the production of the short video wonders of the local flavor;the youth group is the main force in the short video creation.The resistance of the army and youth subculture to the mainstream culture is the main reason for the rise of the short video spectacle.The short and hot video of the local flavor is ultimately unable to escape the commercial driving force.A small number of people who master the capital privilege see the market after the short video of the local flavor,then monopolize the potential and adopt the specialized production mode to get profits.To be able to continue to be an important reason for the epidemic.The third part,on the basis of exploring the emergence of the short video in the local flavor and the logic behind the generation,this paper argues that the development of China's short video spectacle has led to the development of the rural economy,the realization of the rural cultural media and the spirit of the bottom people to a certain extent.The pseudo environment created by the creators of short videos will mislead the audience's cognition of rural areas and label the image of rural areas as "alternative".In addition,some local short video creators also try to play the edge ball with the platform,disseminating vulgar,dirty video content,affecting the development of media,and virtually shaping the audience's aesthetic taste.
