The essence of cultural programs in the current society is embodied as a picture displayed by the media, and its media landscape has become an important way to spread traditional culture."The Chinese Poetry Competition" has been popular for five consecutive years and has become a typical demonstration of cultural programs. The media spectacle it has formed has reshaped the traditional cultural communication system. Therefore, this research focuses on "The Chinese Poetry Competition",uses Guy Debord's theory of "The Society of the Spectacle" and Douglas Kellner's case analysis perspective when analyzing Media Spectacle, and analyzes the construction of Media Spectacle through text analysis. The internal method is of great research value and practical significance under the social background where the country vigorously advocates the promotion of traditional culture. The research found that "The Chinese Poetry Competition" used visual, auditory, and language symbols to build a "visual illusion" for the audience, and at the same time made the "visual illusion" a "super reality" through narrative methods such as media-based competition system and rich content."Sex" dominates the "media Spectacle" of traditional cultural dissemination. The successful construction of its media spectacle provides more reference for cultural programs, but at the same time, its spectacle also emphasizes recitation and scores. This research explores the construction of the media Spectacle of "The Chinese Poetry Competition",hoping to provide a useful reference for cultural programs to better spread traditional culture.
