Miniaturization of microwave components is a hot topic in the field of microwave engineering in recent years,and it is also a problem that many designers are competing to discuss.The development of miniaturization technology of microwave module and microwave power module is also popular.As an important component of microwave power module,miniaturization TWT is becoming more and more popular.The miniaturization of components and modules inevitably requires the components to be miniaturized,so the gain equalizer needs to be miniaturized.As the current gain equalizer does not have a very mature theoretical basis like other microwave devices,it is necessary to develop a fast design method of gain equalizer.This method is beneficial to reduce the design cycle of gain equalizer,improve enterprise efficiency,and guide the development of microwave power module to a higher level.In this thesis,the feasibility of using microstrip line structure to make gain equalizer is studied based on the theory of microstrip transmission and gain equalizer.The gain equalizer with high performance and miniaturization index is studied by using sonnet simulation software and HFSS simulation design software.In this paper,the advantages of Sonnet software and HFSS simulation software convergence are combined to optimize the fast design method of microstrip gain equalizer.In the process of the development of miniaturized 2-6.2GHz gain equalizer,the length and width of microstrip branches are innovated and optimized for many times.The influence of resistance parameters is also compared.The influence of the above factors on the simulation results of gain equalizer is truly mastered.Secondly,based on the advanced technology platform of the company,the traditional gain equalizer is improved in structure,raw materials and processing technology.In order to reduce the size of the gain equalizer,the microstrip resonator is reduced by bending the resonant branch,and the impedance transform line is reduced by bending the main transmission line.By using the specially designed microstrip test fixture,the electrical performance can be tested quickly and accurately without damaging the Miniaturized Microwave devices.Then,a miniaturized 2-6.2GHz gain equalizer is designed and fabricated according to the target of the paper.Finally,the simulation model is improved according to the characteristics of tin film resistor,and the film forming process of tin film is studied.It provides the conditions for making gain equalizer by using tantalum nitride film resistor.
