Microwave Power Module is widely used in military war system,as well as civil radar satellite. The wide application of microwave power module is due to its characteristics of small size,high-gain,and high efficiency.Microwave amplifier driving module is the major part of microwave power module. Therefore,it is significant to research on microwave amplifier driving module. The gain equalizer offers an effective way to regula te the power demand of amplifier driving module and travelling-wave tube amplifier. An efficient gain equalizer can tackle the problem that the gain of travelling-wave tube amplifier is inconsistent in each frequency point. In this paper, the author designs two kinds of amplifier driving modules. The first one is powered by traditional packaged chips, which possesses with high stability and can work in high-low temperature environment;Another amplifier driving module reaches the gain of 57 dB,which takes advantage of unpackaged chips to implement miniaturization.Besides,The author researches on the basic theory of gain equalizer.Making use of computer software to complete simulation and optimization, the author designs and processes two traditional gain equalizers with working frequency range from 2-6 GHz.There is a slight difference between the simulation and the object. The second gain equalizer is applied in microwave amplifier driving module and meets the requirements of technical indicator of the project. On the basis of LTCC,the author designs an Ultra-wideband miniaturized gain equalizer which is applicable from 0.8-20 GHz.Furthermore, the author takes advantage of the characteristics of LTCC.multilayer circuit to design the capacitance and inductance in a small size.Compared with traditional module,The second module reduces over 50 percent in size.It lays foundation for the miniaturization of amplifier driving module in the future.
