With the gradual popularization and application of the Internet in China,more and more people choose to obtain information on the Internet.Consequently,local news websites have emerged.However,as the process of media convergence continues to deepen and central mainstream media,traditional news media and commercial portal websites have entered the market,"The 80/20 Rule" appears in the communication level of Chinese news websites.More precisely,although central mainstream news websites and magnates of commercial portal websites are relatively small part of the all.,but their comprehensive transmission power are far higher than other news sites.Local news websites are facing more intense industry competition and pressure.How to survival in the increasingly fierce competition and enhance competitiveness is problem.Zhongguogansu Web was established in 2005.It is local news sites which approved by The State Council Information Office.It is now in the charge of Network and Information Office of Gansu Provincial Party Committee.It is a comprehensive news website,mainstream media and“the window ”of Gansu province.Because of location of local news website,its audience market is small.But as a momentous local news website headed by government,its development has unique advantages.This paper takes Zhongguogansu Web as the research object.Analyzes the innovative strategies adopted by Zhongguogansu Web in the process of media convergence and try to find out the law of the whole Gansu region local news website media convergence.The purpose of this paper is to analyze how to make use of own advantages and innovation to promote the development of the Zhongguogansu Web,in turn to provides ideas for the development of local news websites in Gansu.
