The development of network technology has raised reforms of all aspects of society,including media environment.The development of new media poses a threat to the survival of the traditional media.In order to meet the challenges of the new media environment,traditional media has started to explore the mutural integretion of new media and traditional media.Faced with the trend of the rapid development of the Internet,how to adhere to the traditional media dissemination,credibility and influence in the new media environment is an urgent issue to be addressed.This article is presented with television and new media research media convergence in this context.This paper,which is based on the journalism disciplinary threshold,focuses on CCTV News New Media Department.Full text altogether is divided into five parts,the first part of this article is about the background,significance,content,methods,and summary of domestic research situation,and television media,new media and other related concepts are described and defined.The second part looks back the history and development of media convergence historically and institutionally,and conducts a comprehensive,in-depth exploration of traditional television media adaptation in the new media environment,which focuses on the three media convergence of TV Media in China typical cases,and the take the plight of the fusion of television media from the content,channels,platforms,management,administration areas.The third part focuses on history and current situation of China Central Television News new media,especially the motivation,meaning and the development path of developing new media services and the development of media convergence.The fourth part analyzes the political,economic,cultural and technical advantages in developing the new media,and the difficulties combined with the institutional,legal,cultural and micro-level aspect.The fifth part tries to put forward development strategies for CCTV from the content,channels,platforms,management and administration,thus creating a new mainstream media with more influential force,hoping thereby to seek the path of media convergence and spreading strategies for Chinese television media.
