Study On The Constructiveness Of China's Rural News

" Constructive news " as a new concept originated in Western countries,is deeply rooted in "constructive" soil in China's journalism industry.The concept frequently appears in various China's news reports,especially in rural news.In the context of the country's rural revitalization strategy and media transformation,The Southern Rural Report,with the concept of " speaking for farmers and serving agriculture " launched the "Third-Party Evaluation carried out by The Southern Rural Report",which provides a classic case for the development of constructive news in China.With the Third-Party Evaluation as a case study,this paper used knowledge of constructive news and combined theories about sociology,journalism and communication to discuss the constructiveness of China ' s rural news by field investigation.And regards constructiveness as evaluation criteria of news value.This paper explained is the definition of rural news and the constructiveness of rural news.This paper first sorts out and analyzes the historical background,practical methods and constructive characteristics of the "hird-Party Evaluation carried out by The Southern Rural Report".This paper summarized the seven basic constructive elements of China's rural journalism.It involves solving rural development problems,facing the rural future vision.accommodating the diverse voices of the village,empowering the people with civil rights,providing a rural development context,establishing a multi-faceted collaboration platform and protection and inheritance of rural culture.Problem solving is a constructive focus of rural journalism.This paper focused on the realization route of constructiveness of China's rural news:at the level of presenting facts,it is problem-oriented to provide strategies;at the level of dealing with the relationship between the present and the future,it not only faces the development of the village in the future and protects the village's traditional culture;At the power relation level,the role of agricultural media is shown in the power game;at the level of connecting target,people are empowered to promote grassroots governance.The research found that in the process of realizing the constructiveness of rural journalism,constructive journalism is easy to evolve into a tool of benefit,the number of journalists and editors who are really good at writing constructive news is in short supply too.Therefore,excessive publicity and commercialization of rural news should be avoided,at the same time,a team of expert reporters and editors in the field of agriculture,rural areas and farmers should be cultivated.
