Research On The Discourse Construction Of People's Daily Commentary Against The CDVID-19 Epidemic

In early December 2019,the COVID-19 epidemic hit,causing a public crisis,rumors and prejudice in the public opinion field,and the credibility and image of the government were damaged.During this period,the commentary of People's Daily released great power in the process of eliminating erroneous ideas and providing correct public opinion guidance,and opened up a new battlefield against the epidemic in the field of news commentary.This paper adopts Fairclough's discourse analysis method to conduct discourse analysis on People's Daily's comments during the epidemic prevention and control period.The research shows that the commentary of People's Daily has the following text characteristics: "people","life" and "epidemic" become the high-frequency words in the anti-epidemic period;The long title sentence style directly hit the real-time focus of the whole process of anti-epidemic;Text symbols and picture symbols create a "sense of presence" for the audience.In the aspect of discourse practice,its influence is further enhanced by the diversified expressions such as credibility context,critical context and dialogue context.It is a feature of his discourse practice to record the social life and domestic politics related to the great anti-epidemic years,in which a certain proportion of critical comments are intended to awaken the public's vigilance against the disaster.Combining the 4R crisis management theory with the discourse transmission process of People's Daily commentary We Chat platform during the epidemic prevention and control period,the author constructed the evaluation system of comment discourse effect.It is found that the commentary language of People's Daily is characterized by the unity of seriousness and vividness,and the combination of rational persuasion and perceptual persuasion.At the same time,the support and attention from all sectors of society,the unity of the whole people in fighting the epidemic,and the selfless dedication of medical workers have become the main comments in the fight against the epidemic.In addition,the public is more sensitive and alert to the hot events in the comments,and the communication effect of the comments has achieved good results.However,the comments of People's Daily have also exposed some shortcomings,such as the individual narrative being submerged in the grand theme narrative,the lack of voice in the latent period of crisis,the low application degree of audio and video elements,and the weak proximity of some comments.Finally,the thesis puts forward the discourse construction strategy of the Party newspaper commentary against the epidemic.First of all,the proportion of individual narratives in the crisis can be appropriately increased to make the discourse system in the period of fighting the epidemic more complete.Secondly,the online resource database of crisis events should be designated and constantly updated to improve the timeliness of comments.In terms of content,short video elements can be added to enhance the readability and attractiveness of traditional graphic comments.However,the publicity of Party newspaper comments should be defended instead of traffic being the most important.In order to achieve the best interactive communication effect,the party newspaper commentary needs to attach importance to the expression of users,enhance the degree of interaction and deepen the emotional communication with the audience.Increase the feedback channels of the audience,constantly improve the feedback mechanism,and stimulate the desire of users to share and interact.
