| Due to the outbreak of COVID-19 in 2019,online rumors of the epidemic presented a highly complex and changeable spreading situation on the Internet due to the absence of time and space restrictions.To some extent,the information variation caused by epidemic rumors posed challenges to network security and emergent public health governance.This study takes "real-time refuting rumors of Novel Coronavirus pneumonia" in Tencent News comparison platform as the research object,combines three research methods,discourse analysis method,content analysis method and case analysis method,and through logical demonstration in four chapters,discusses the textual representations of Internet rumors in the novel coronavirus epidemic from a micro level.At the macro level,how does it construct its own discourse framework system based on the text,and what kind of power operation mechanism and effect generation are presented within the epidemic Internet rumors under this framework?According to the analysis of the above issues,relevant departments can timely grasp the transmission mode of Internet rumors when similar sudden public health events occur again in the future.It is of great significance to find effective measures to deal with rumors and maintain social security.The study found that,first,among the textual representations of online rumors of the novel coronavirus epidemic,social media has become the "main front" of the online rumor propagation,which has the characteristics of closed-loop transmission.Secondly,Internet rumors are mainly in the form of pure text,and at the same time,a variety of media narrative means such as pictures and videos are comprehensively used to combine the dominant discourse with the persuasive characteristics and the recessive discourse with the persuasive characteristics to convey the rich meaning inside and outside the rumor discourse to the public.Finally,the text structure of Internet rumors composed of content topics,focus subjects and rumor scenes provides basic resource elements for rumor disseminators to carry out discourse construction in combination with specific time.Second,psychological perception framework,circle and group interaction framework,interest appeal framework and collective memory framework jointly construct the discourse framework of Internet rumors during the COVID-19 pandemic,which follows the construction path of individual--circle and group--society--country,and each Internet rumor framework has its own content production and significance of discourse practice.Third,there are three power operation mechanisms within Internet rumors in the context of COVID-19,namely,spatial discipline of Internet rumors under knowledge power,capital transformation of Internet rumors under symbol power,and mass expression of Internet rumors under technology empowerment,which have generated negative output of public opinion bubble effect and backfire effect on the discourse space of Internet rumors.As "anti-power" network rumors have a certain positive effect on the coordination of social relations. |
