| The COVID-19 at the end of 2019 is "the fastest speed,the most infected,and the most difficult to prevent and control" major burst public health event in China.As the most effective communicator,mass media played an important role in the fight against the epidemic.However,in the era of media integration and media environment becoming more and more complex,media are facing increasing challenges.Network News Broadcast is the most representative mainstream media in China.Convergence Report of COVID-19 Epidemic in Network News Broadcast not only test the ability of China media to respond to sudden public health incidents,but also inspected the integration effectiveness of Network News Broadcast.Therefore,this study takes the convergence report of COVID-19 epidemic in Network News Broadcast as the research object,and uses content analysis method and discourse analysis method to explore the discourse characteristics and limitations of Network News BroadcastThis study mainly adopts discourse analysis and content analysis.Select Network News Broadcast In the 2020-2011 the media report on COVID-19 in the three platforms of the CCTV,We Chat official account,Tiktok.Comprehensive application of Fairclough’s three-dimensional criticism and Van Dick’s news discourse analysis framework,from text analysis,discourse practice,social practice,in-depth analysis of research samples,explore the Network News Broadcast in the media era the discourse characteristics and causes.The research ideas of this thesis are as follows:First of all,it analyzes the words,style and theme structure of discourse from the perspective of text.Word analysis is divided into high-frequency words and title sentence patterns.Discourse style is divided into audiovisual style,emotional tendency and literary rhetoric;The structure of the subject is political,economic and social reports.After that,the discourse practice of the samples is analyzed from two aspects:intertextuality and topic setting.Intertextuality is divided into two aspects: reporting method and news source.Topic setting includes three parts: reporting quantity and length,reporting genre and reporting content.Then,the sample discourse is analyzed in social practice in order to explore the ideology behind the discourse and its social construction.At the same time,the social causes of discourse generation are also analyzed from the political and media aspects.Finally,the thesis summarizes the above research results,summarizes the limitations of convergence report of COVID-19 epidemic in Network News Broadcast and puts forward specific suggestions.Through the research,it is found that The News Broadcast has certain reference significance for media coverage of COVID-19 epidemic,but also has limitations,which are mainly reflected in lacking of early COVID-19 reporting and counter-attack discourse.In view of the above problems,this study also puts forward countermeasures and suggestions for appropriately enriching information sources and strengthening science communication.It is hoped that the above research suggestions can,to some extent,provide reference and reflection for the discourse transformation of Chinese media in the era of media integration,so as to improve the discourse expression ability of Chinese media. |
