With high-speed real-time signal processing system demanding for high-performance increasingly urgent,the data transfer rate to meet the processing node data stream high-speed reliable throughput under the premise of continuously enhance the system processor unit handling capacity and cluster mode processing is to achieve high performance Effective way.However,with the increasing complexity of applications and the increasing amount of data,the rate of data transmission is also increasing to ensure the processing efficiency and real-time performance,which poses a challenge to the design of high-speed transmission links.Currently,high-speed serial links are the main mode of high-volume,high-throughput data transmission in high-speed real-time signal processing systems.The single-lane line rate has generally reached 10 Gbps and above.At this moment,the non-ideal electromagnetic effect of the link can easily cause signal integrity problems such as dispersion,reflection,crosstalk and the like,thereby causing transmission error or even link failure.In this paper,the design of high-speed serial link in high-speed real-time signal processing system has been deeply studied.The main contents and main contributions are as follows:First of all,this paper discusses the main components of the high-speed real-time signal processing system high-speed serial link and their impact on the link,and theoretical analysis of the key impact factors.Based on the analysis of the key factors,this paper presents a complete set of high-speed serial link optimization design methods that cover modeling,simulation and testing,and can comprehensively consider the influencing factors such as connectors,vias,transmission line loss,pre-emphasis,,And through the use of de-embedding technology to ensure measurement accuracy.Secondly,based on the proposed method,this paper designs and implements a 10 Gbps high-speed serial link authentication platform under the Open VPX standard.The design of high-speed serial link in this platform has refined and refined the elements and links of the link through the simulation parameter scanning,which overcomes the problem that the entire link caused by the poor transmission characteristic of the Open VPX standard connector TE?1410140?1 10 Gbps Design margin problem.The test results show that the passive link parameters of the high-speed serial link completely meet the 10 Gbps link specification in IEEE 802.3ap;the active link runs for a long time at the 10 Gbps speed and the data transmission is stable.At present,the 10 Gbps high-speed serial link design technology has been applied to many practical projects of the research group.After various screening tests(such as high and low temperature and vibration),the data transmission is stable.Finally,based on the proposed method,this paper designs and implements a 25 Gbps high-speed serial link verification platform.Compared with the 10 Gbps high-speed serial link,the challenge is that the non-ideal effect of each link element at this rate is more prominent,Even close to the limit,so more sophisticated modeling and simulation optimization and more sophisticated measurement methods are needed.In this paper,the key elements such as test connector,signal via,connector vias and so on are optimized through fine-grained parameter step-by-step,and the whole link is optimized considering all factors.The test results show that the passive link parameters of the high-speed serial link completely meet the 25 Gbps link specification in IEEE 802.3bj;the active link runs for a long time at 25 Gbps and the data transmission is stable.In summary,the modeling,simulation and testing techniques of high speed serial link in high speed real-time signal processing system are deeply studied in this paper.A complete set of high speed serial link optimization design method is proposed.Based on this method,The 10 Gbps and 25 Gbps high-speed serial link verification platform,in which the actual test results of the former and the actual application in the project fully verified the effectiveness of the design,while the latter for the high-speed real-time signal processing system future 25 Gbps high-speed serial link Design laid the foundation.
