In recent years, with the digital phased array radar and MIMO structure communicationssystems are widely used array signal processing, array signal processing technology hasincreasingly become an important trend in the field of signal processing. In this paper, weresearch and design of a FPGA-based real-time array signal processing systems using in apassive detection systems which demanded for an array of signal acquisition and real-timeprocessing of data collection. We use a multi-channel ADC to acquire signal, complete digitalsignal processing in FPGA and data transfer via high speed serial bus, a set of high-speedreal-time data processing hardware platform.(1) Multi-channel AD acquisition system hardware design: according to designrequirements and technology through the development of multi-channel ADC, low jitterclock distribution chip, FPGA, the paper consists of five pieces completed internalintegration four125Msps ADC hardware of ADI’s high-speed chip AD9653, ADI’s ultra-lowjitter clock distribution chip ADCLK948, Xilinx company Kintex-7series FPGA, andRapidIO, Gigabit Ethernet and other high-speed serial bus interface design implementation.(2) Multi-channel AD acquisition system hardware detailed design: the system isdivided into AD data acquisition module, FPGA signal processing module, RapidIO andGigabit Ethernet bus interface.(3) For signal integrity and power integrity issues faced by high-speed digital systemdesign, research and basic design considerations for high-speed digital design, circuit designfor the system specific theoretical analysis of the system and take appropriate solutions.(4) Completed the ADC hardware circuit debugging and performance testing, and theresults in the signal processing FPGA verified.Through the ADC performance testing, test results show that not only has the numberof significant digits acquisition system up to11.5bit, but also has a200p channel betweenlow latency poor performance fully meet the design requirements laid for real-timeprocessing signals foundation, has been successfully applied in a remote sensing system.
