| Along with the rapid development of the digital signal processing technology, themulti-core signal processing platform has been widely used in various fields ofreal-time signal processing. Relying on the actual project application, a multi-coreInSAR real-time signal processing platform with high performance is devloped in thispaper, which realizes the data acquisition of radar echo, InSAR real-time processing and1553B bus communication. The radar signal processing platform is based on DSP+FPGA architecture, anduses the TI’s latest high performance multi-core DSP processor TMS320C6678andALTERA’s Stratix IV GX series FPGA chip EP4SGX230. The TMS320C6678DSPprocessor integrates eight C66x DSP cores, which can run at a core speed of up to1.25GHz. Simultaneously, the EP4SGX230FPGA has GXB modules, which can beconfigured into various high-speed serial interfaces such as SRIO through the IP core. This paper discusses the overall design and the hardware circut design in detail, and achieves the communication and the interconnection among devices through avariety of advanced high-speed serial interfaces. The platform uses the high-speed serialstandard SRIO to implement the high-speed data transmission up to5Gbps per lanebetween DSP and FPGA. DDR3technology is utilized, expanding a6GB high-speedexternal memory system for high-speed data caching. Besides, a250MSPS high-speeddual-channel ADC with14-bit resolution is adopted for data acquisition and conversionof radar echo in this system, and the international military bus standard1553B is usedfor communication between this platform and the host computer. Meanwhile, as adedicated radar signal processing platform, the platform also have certain versatility andextensibility. |
