In manufacturing,industrial robots on production lines can be used in a variety of locations,and their reliability and stability significantly increase productivity and economic efficiency.Industrial robots are complex and expensive to maintain on-site,but remote monitoring and diagnostics via IoT technology can improve productivity and save costs.On the basis of a comprehensive analysis of the industrial robot remote system developed and studied by well-known enterprises in the industrial robot industry,universities and research institutes at home and abroad.Through the research,this paper presents new solutions to the problems of HRT-120 industrial robot such as high cost,complex diagnostic data and limited bandwidth in the remote control and fault diagnosis system of the IoT.The main research progress is reflected in the following three aspects:1.Analyses and set up the fault diagnosis system.The fault mode and feature of HRT-120 industrial robot are clarified.Based on the fault tree analysis method,the establishment of the fault tree of the industrial robot is studied.The bidirectional associative memory neural network is improved and integrated into the fault tree diagnosis system.A calculation model is established to optimize the calculation samples of the neural network to provide fault diagnosis analysis.2.Conduct the requirement analysis of sensor data collection and control structure,select appropriate hardware and wireless control scheme with IoT driver architecture;complete the setup and connection of short-distance and long-distance communication technology;analyze the configuration of IoT middleware,integrate driver systems and devices,and complete control architecture.3.The design and implementation scheme of remote monitoring and fault diagnosis system are described in detail.The system is based on the Niagara IoT middleware for secondary development,including on-line monitoring,remote control,data management,fault diagnosis and other functions.The fault diagnosis function is also tested to verify its applicability.
