The development of electric power communication network is changing with each passing day.How to improve the reliability of electric power communication network has become the focus now.Broadly defined electric power communication refers to various communications provided by the communication resources of the electric power system.In this paper,a phasor measurement unit(PMU)communication network is taken as an example to verify the effectiveness of the method in a generalized power communication network by improving the reliability of the PMU network.In the power system,the PMU provides voltage and current phasor measurement.It can monitor the dynamic process of the power system and plays an indispensable role in the power system.However,PMU networks are frequently threatened by failures such as man-made attacks and natural disasters.Therefore,improving the reliability of the PMU network has become a top priority for the development of power systems.Investigate effective failure recovery methods and adopt an optimized topology configuration for the PMU network to improve network reliability and ensure the safe and stable operation of the power system.In this paper,the main research object of PMU network is to analyze the composition of PMU network,its role in power system and the types of failures.In view of the economic and reliability requirements of the PMU network,perform topology configuration on the network to achieve failure recovery and improve the observability of the network.The main research work is as follows:(1)Comprehensively consider the controllability,observability,economy and other aspects,and carry out a detailed analysis of the PMU network.According to the characteristics of a single point of failure of the PMU network,according to the characteristics of the PMU network structure and the related knowledge of the backup topology,the backup topology configuration of the structure of the PMU network is performed.On this basis,the construction cost and bandwidth cost of the PMU network link are synthesized,and a backup topology model that meets the minimum configuration cost under the premise of observability of the entire network is established.A heuristic algorithm is proposed to solve the model problem.Simulation examples show that the backup topology method proposed in this paper can filter out the backup topology that has the lowest network configuration cost and meets the reliability of the network,and realizes the rapid restoration of the observability of the entire network after a single point of failure.(2)Given that the backup topology configuration can only recover a single point of failure of the PMU network and a small number of large-scale failures,large-scale failures often cause a devastating blow to the PMU network.For this reason,based on the characteristics of the PMU network,this paper proposes a strategy for recovering the maximum observability of the PMU network based on the reconfiguration topology based on the backup topology configuration.The corresponding model is established,and the algorithm of the model is given.At the same time,this method combines Kirchhoff's law to calculate and predict the PMU measurement values??that cannot be restored to improve the observability of the network.Simulation examples show that the recombination topology method can give the corresponding recombination topology structure for communication recovery after a large-scale failure,and achieves the restoration of the maximum observability of the entire network after large-scale failures.
