With the rapid development of video display technology,4K ultra-high definition display technology has become a hot spot for people to pursue.The wide application of 4K display devices has spawned a wide variety of 4K interface standards,among which HDMI interfaces are commonly used in consumer electronics such as digital set-top boxes,computers,displays,etc.SDI interfaces are used to transmit broadcast television in uncompressed video formats.In order to achieve interface conversion between different devices and improve compatibility between devices,SDI to HDMI interface conversion system came into being.Based on the four-link transmission mode of 4K SDI signal,this paper uses FPGA chip to realize the decoding and reception of 3G-SDI high-speed signal,and combines the pixel segmentation method of four-way image,cache mapping structure,audio data embedding position and structure,and outputs LVDS video.And I2 S audio format data,HDMI driver chip receives video and audio data respectively and synthesizes one HDMI signal output to realize four-link 3G-SDI signal to HDMI signal interface converter.Based on the function of the interface converter,the work of this thesis is as follows:(1)Master the 4G 3G-SDI transmission mode of 4K SDI signal and understand the data transmission mode of HDMI 2.0,and learn the implementation of4 K SDI signal to HDMI signal;(2)For the function of the interface converter,compare and analyze several existing design schemes,formulate the system design scheme that conforms to this design,select the appropriate FPGA and HDMI driver chip;(3)System design Module division,respectively,realizes cable equalization of SDI signal,reception of FPGA high-speed I/O port,decoding of SDI signal,synchronization of video inside and outside,restoration of four-way image mapping format,identification and extraction of audio data,video and audio Data buffer and other operating circuits,and write output interface to achieve LVDS video and I2 S audio data drive output;finally through the FPGA configuration,the HDMI chip automatically receives video and audio data,and synthesized into a HDMI signal output;(4)Functional testing of the system design to ensure that the system design meets the expected requirements.The test results show that the four-link 3G-SDI signal of the interface converter can correctly decode and receive,and the output HDMI image signal has the same video resolution and audio channel number as the source image,and the played video picture is clear and smooth.The audio signal being played is clear and clear,meeting the intended function of the interface converter.The four-link 3G-SDI to HDMI signal interface conversion system designed in this paper has the characteristics of low hardware cost,low conversion delay and good stability,and is compatible with the transmission mode below 3G-SDI rate.This design has high market application value and has certain reference significance for the design of other interface converters.
