Research On Information Visualization For Large Screen Of County-level Converged Media Center

With the gradual promotion of media convergence in China,the development of county-level converged media center,as the last part of media convergence,has attracted much attention.As an important part of information transformation and presentation of county-level converged media center,users have more and more requirements for the large screen.The large screen in the county-level converged media center not only needs to present information,but also needs to provide users with services such as decision-making assistance and feedback on public issues.The research is based on county-level converged media center construction project,and tries to build an information visualization process for the large screen of county-level converged media center.It stars with the information classification research of the large screen of county-level converged media center,and introduced model processing methods and visualization coding for various types of information,to conduct research on the visualization design of large screens.First of all,the paper reviews the development of county-level converged media center in China,and summarizes the existed framework of county-level converged media center.By analyzing the related concepts,forms of expression and general design process of information visualization,combined with the characteristics of large screen construction of county-level converged media center,the information classification method,targeted principle and visuallization design process of county-level converged media center can be summarized.Secondly,according to the business requirements of the large screen of the county-level converged media center,the information classification is studied.Information collection and preprocessing are carried out according to the classified information,and different types of information are processed with appropriate models or methods.Based on the processed information,scientific and reasonable visual coding method is selected for different types of information according to the different cognitive ability and demand characteristics of users.Finally,The paper relies on the background of a county-level converged media center,and bases on the previous research foundation,to finish a design practice about visualization design of a large screen of a county-level converged media center.The effectiveness,efficiency and satisfaction of design practice are tested through usability test,which shows that the design practice under the research of this project has good usability.Therefore,it has certain theoretical significance and application value to apply the design process and related theories in the design practice as the basis and reference for guiding the large screen design of the county-level converged media center.
