The Risk Managememt Research On System Kernel R&d Project Of R Company

At present,the development and application of Linux kernel in IT field has been very common at home and abroad,including server operating system software,mobile phones and other portable devices,cloud computing,Internet of things,intelligent hardware and other products.In the future,the application of Linux kernel will be more extensive,and enterprises will face many opportunities and challenges.This thesis present research on the project management risk in three aspects,including market,technology and management.It is helpful for enterprises to identify,analyze and deal with the risk in project R&D,and also ensure the accuracy,effectiveness,progress and quality of the project.Then enhance the competitiveness of company’s products.This thesis principally has the steps of research as follows:Firstly,for the current R&D projects,Fault Tree Analysis and Cause and Effect Diagram are used to identify risks,including areas of market direction and product design,R&D process and technology application,project management,etc.Secondly,by using expert investigation method and risk rating form,the risk level is analyzed quantitatively and qualitatively.The root causes,probability and influence of risk are concluded,which can be used to design risk response plan.Thirdly,list specific risk response plans for all risks,including method and relevant responsible persons of the risk.Finally,in the process of the project,the risk is monitored to ensure the risk response plan is correctly implemented,and the status of the risk is continuously detected.If there is any deviation,the response plan need to be adjusted to ensure the risk can be controlled effectively.Risk assessment is carried out periodically,and the effect of response plan is measured according to the factors of risk status,resource consumption,secondary risk and so on.This thesis makes an deep research on the risk management of R company’s major products,which provides a theoretical reference and guidance for the project risk management in R&D department.It is also helpful to make the project in the right direction and stable.This thesis also has reference value in the risk management process of projects for other kind of product in the future.
