Risk Management On The Project Of Scientific Research Information Management System For Geophysical Prospecting Institute

With the rapid development of Information Technology(IT), software development has become one of the most important factors in the economic growth. Many industries in life cannot go without the software. So the informatization management in an enterprise becomes an important measure to improve the operating management level and efficiency. There exist all kinds of risks in the process of software development. How to avoid and mitigate these risks has become a hot issue in the field of software project developers.This paper first puts forward some basic theoretical knowledge about risks and risk management, then combines with the software development process of the scientific research information management system of Geophysical Prospecting Institute, and summarizes the entire software development process carefully after communicating with software engineers in detail. Four risks affecting the software project, namely: the demand risk, technology risk, cost risk, schedule risk, are listed from the perspective of software developers. And then with the combination of qualitative and quantitative analysis method, the main risk factors affecting the project schedule in the process of risk management are found. The corresponding countermeasures are found in the detailed analysis about the schedule risk. All of these have laid a good foundation for the software development.
