Erya is the first monograph on exegesis in China, for which there are many annotations. In Jin Dynasty,Guo Pu's great achievements in annotating this book are valued by later scholars. At the beginning of Song Dynasty,Xing Bing further annotated on the basis of Guo's annotation, and made many achievements.Zheng Qiao's Erya Zhu critically inherits Guo Pu's annotation and Xing Bing's annotation, and has some original ideas.Zheng Qiao attached great importance to practical learning, and made a practical and visual inspection of the many things he interpreted. Its notes are concise and essential, with distinctive features, and it is a representative work of Erya studies in the Southern Song Dynasty. The earliest existing engraving of Zheng Qiao's Erya Zhu is Yuan Engraving, which was once collected by Mao Jin.During the Chongzhen period of the Ming Dynasty,Mao Shi took this as the base, and the school was re-engraved in Jigu Ge,which was included in Jin Dai Mi Shu Secretary(hereinafter referred to as Jigu Ge's edition).Later,in the 40 th year of Qing Emperor Kangxi(1701),Zheng Dingyuan's engraving of Yufeng(hereinafter referred to as Zheng Dingyuan's edition),Si Ku Quan Shu's edition(hereinafter referred to as Si Ku's edition),Houguan Jie Zheng's engraving in the 3rd year of Qing Jiaqing(1798),Zhang Haipeng's engraving of Xue Jin Tao Yuan in the 10 th year of Qing Jiaqing(1805)(hereinafter referred to as Zhaokuang Ge's edition)and transcripts of Qing Dynasty.Except Zheng Dingyuan's edition, all the other books are from Jigu Ge's edition. After investigation,it is found that although the Yuan engraving is the original engraving, there are many errors and omissions.Jigu Ge's engraving has corrected a large number of obvious errors in Yuan engraving, but the correction is incomplete and new errors are derived. After that,Siku's edition and Zhaokuang Ge's edition were further revised on the basis of Ji Guge's edition, and each obtained some achievements.Among them,Siku's edition was the most completely revised in these versions, and according to Zhaokuang Ge,the collation is also detailed, and the original text of Erya was supplemented.Zheng Dingyuan has many annotations that other books don't have. Therefore, this collation is based on Siku's edition,Yuan Engraving,Jigu Ge's edition,Zheng Dingyuan's edition,Zhaokuang Ge's edition as the school-based,and refer to Zheng Jie's edition and Qing manuscripts' s edition. This paper is divided into upper and lower parts. The first part consists of three parts: the first chapter introduces Zheng Qiao's life and the process of writing Erya Zhu;the second chapter clarifies the relationship of the versions of Erya Zhu and judges the advantages and disadvantages of these editions;the third chapter compares Zheng Qiao's annotation with Guo Pu's annotation and Xing Bing's Explanation, investigates Zheng Qiao's inheritance and development of the old annotation, and the fourth chapter summarizes the characteristics of Zheng Qiao's Erya Zhu.A complete and accurate collation is provided for scholars. The appendix part collects the prefaces and postscripts of each edition of Erya Zhu,which provides the literature reference for scholars to study Zheng Qiao's academic thoughts and exegesis methods, and collects data for the history of elegant studies in the Southern Song Dynasty.
