The Research Of Si Ku Ti Yao Bian Zheng

Si Ku Quan Shu Zong Mu is a summary work of traditonal Chinese acdemic heritage. However, because it was compiled by many authors from different backgrounds in haste, brings forth a lot of mistakes in the work. Thereafter in order to correct these mistakes, Yu Jiaxi wrote Si Ku Ti Yao Bian Zheng to inspect and discriminate carefully for the 490 articles in Si Ku Quan Shu Zong Mu on their authors/contents/editions and so on, totally more than eight hundred thousand characters.Bian Zheng as an important part in the past research of Zong Mu, its academic value inherently is also worth researching in greater detail. From perspectives of Siku Xue,Textology and Historiography, this paper studies on acdemic thoughts in Bian Zheng, mainly consisting of the following components:Introduction part:discussing the significance of thesis topic selecting, research status and research methods.Chapter One:discussing the communication and exchange of Yu Jiaxi in the academic activities during Republic of China period, and exploring the composition process of Bian Zheng.Chapter Two:discussing the Historiography Thought in Bian Zheng. Although Bian Zheng emphasis on textual research, it also reflects the profound academic critical thinking of Yu Jiaxi. From perspective of historigraphy, it contains abundant Historiography of Thought in history discriminating. These views are scattered in differentiation of the history summary. Although the material a bit scattered, we can still conclude that Yu's Historiography of thought inherited from the traditional history academic, which also developed his own unique ideas.Chapter Three:comparing Bian Zheng to find out the mistakes in Zong Mu. After "Si Ku Quan Shu" was published, it turned to a gateway for many scholars to pursue their studies. But the mistakes and flaws in Zong Mu had misled later scholars. This chapter compares Bian Zheng and Zong Mu, in order to analyse the mistakes one by one, and states the causes for the mistakes in Zong Mu.Chapter Four:discussing the evidence collecting standards and methods of textology in Bian Zheng. Bian Zheng aims at discriminating the mistakes and errors in Zong Mu. Referring extensively, Bian Zheng carefully revises the mistakes and errors,displaying many brilliant and unique points for us.Terefore, research and analyse on the textology standards and methods in Bian Zheng will be very significant to future reseachers in their scholarships.
