With the continuous changes in international relations in recent years,the supply of integrated chips such as ADCs has been greatly affected.As one of the important material foundations of the modern information industry and smart weapons,the importance of ADC chips is self-evident.Therefore,whether in terms of national security or economic development,the localization of chips must be carried out as soon as possible.Under the combined influence of demand and policies,my country has continuously spawned many excellent semiconductor industries.For ADC chips produced by enterprises,various parameters must be accurately tested to facilitate the compilation of later product manuals and to screen out defective chips.However,in the development and production of the entire product,the test cost of the chip generally accounts for more than 30% of the chip development cost.With the rapid development of high-speed and high-precision ADCs,the proportion of chip test expenses is increasing.Therefore,designing a versatile and low-cost ADC performance evaluation system is becoming more and more important for chip research and development.Traditional performance evaluation systems are usually more complicated in connection,costly,and not very versatile.The main purpose of this topic is to design and implement a highly versatile,modular,miniaturized,and low-cost ADC performance evaluation system.In order to meet the diverse needs of ADC interfaces,FPGA is used as the main control core in this design,which is convenient for interface expansion.In order to meet the general test requirements of various ADC chips,this subject adopts a modular design.The ADC performance evaluation system is divided into four parts: clock encoding input module,power supply module,ADC general test module and data processing module.Each module is independent and convenient.Expansion and low cost.The specific research content is as follows: This article first introduces the various index parameters that need to be paid attention to during ADC performance evaluation and research related test methods.Then the overall design ideas and hardware implementation of the system are introduced in detail.At the same time,in order to ensure the accuracy of the system,the designed PCB is simulated with simulation software to prevent the influence of the hardware system on the calculation of performance parameters.Finally,use the existing equipment in the laboratory to build a performance evaluation platform and formulate a performance evaluation plan.Because the manual of domestic chips is relatively simple,the completeness of parameters is slightly insufficient compared with foreign countries.Therefore,the evaluation system designed this time uses two typical chips AD976 and AD9230 as the test objects.Under different sampling clocks,the static and dynamic ADC parameters are measured respectively.test.The results show that the small modular test system implemented in this paper can meet the performance evaluation requirements and has good application value.
