Chinese excellent traditional culture is an important foundation of socialist core values,with distinctive national characteristics and contemporary values.University libraries carry out traditional cultural reading promotion activities,which can not only expand the breadth and breadth of students' knowledge and ideas,guide students to establish correct outlook on life and values,but also promote the construction of campus spiritual civilization and promote the development of a "reading for all" society.With the rapid development of electronic information technology,"fast-food reading" and "fragmented reading" have become the mainstream reading methods for college students.At the same time,new media such as Tik Tok and Kuaishou have had a certain impact on students in terms of content and vision.Occupies a lot of its spare time and reduces the attractiveness of text reading.In addition,China's excellent traditional culture is rich in connotation and broad in extension,but it is often obscure.Some profoundly-thought books require readers to have a certain reading ability and cultural foundation or expert guidance and interpretation,which leads to insufficient motivation for students to read independently.As a result,the promotion of traditional cultural reading in colleges and universities in our country is progressing slowly,and the promotion effect of activities is not obvious."Double first-rate" universities have strong comprehensive strength and rich library collection resources,and they are an important position for reading promotion in my country.By investigating and analyzing the status quo of Chinese traditional cultural reading promotion activities in 42 "double first-class" university libraries in China,looking for excellent cases,summarizing the promotion characteristics,exploring common problems,and proposing optimization strategies,it will be able to develop Chinese traditional culture for Chinese university libraries in the future.Cultural reading promotion activities provide reference and reference,and contribute to the promotion and development of traditional Chinese cultural undertakings.This article adopts the research method mainly based on the network research method and supplemented by the interview research method to conduct surveys and statistics on the Chinese traditional cultural reading promotion activities of 42 "double first-class" university libraries in China.The survey directions mainly include7 aspects: the number of activities,Content and type,activity subject,activity continuity and distribution,cooperation mode of reading promotion subject,and activity evaluation mechanism.At the same time,three excellent and typical cases were selected for analysis,and their highlights and innovations were summarized.The survey found that the characteristics of Chinese traditional cultural reading promotion activities carried out by 42 "double first-class" university libraries in China include: types of activities,rich content of activities,and endless emergence of excellent cases.At the same time,there are deficiencies in the following aspects: First,the main body of reading promotion is not perfect,and the library lacks permanent institutions for reading promotion and traditional cultural professionals;second,the traditional cultural reading promotion activities lack effective use of new media platforms and ignore them.Its positive role in reading promotion;third,the activities are scattered,most university libraries have not established a long-term mechanism for traditional cultural reading promotion,and failed to form their own brand identity;fourth,the promotion target is not universal enough,and the range of groups participating in the activity Narrow;Fifth,the evaluation mechanism of the activity is not sound,failing to attach importance to the secondary use of the results of the activity.In response to the above problems,the author proposes corresponding countermeasures from three levels of government agencies,universities and university libraries.First of all,government departments should provide institutional support and policy guarantees for the promotion of traditional cultural reading in university libraries.At the same time,they should expand the publicity and promotion of excellent traditional culture to create an atmosphere for the whole society to consciously promote China's excellent traditional culture;secondly,universities should increase their support The financial input of the library's traditional cultural reading promotion work,and the concept of promoting and inheriting the excellent traditional Chinese culture should be incorporated into the teaching management,and the traditional cultural reading promotion business should be incorporated into the development strategy.Finally,university libraries should build a professional team for traditional cultural reading promotion,set up a reading promotion department,and attach importance to cultivating traditional cultural reading promotion backbone talents;build a continuous mechanism for traditional Chinese cultural reading promotion activities to form brand identity;in line with the development of the times,innovative activities Form,pay close attention to the needs of readers,combine traditional cultural reading promotion activities with new media;strengthen the concept of cooperation,and form a joint force for traditional cultural reading promotion with internal and external parties;build a long-term and stable self-evaluation indicator system for better future Carry out traditional cultural reading promotion activities to lay a solid foundation.
