Research On The Influencing Factors Of College Students' Health Information Search Behavior Under Public Health Emergencies

In recent years,due to the frequent occurrence of public health emergencies,people's demand for health information is increasing day by day.In the face of the current situation of the uneven quality of health information,the demand for its searching ability is also improved accordingly.As the key group to obtain health information,college students should be paid more attention to.Therefore,this paper will explore the factors that affect the health information searching behavior of college students in the event of public health emergencies,and discuss the relationship between relevant factors.It is expected to improve the health information literacy and health information searching ability of college students,so that they can correctly distinguish and reasonably select health information.So as to respond more calmly and intelligently to public health emergencies.On the basis of referring to relevant studies,this study compiled the Questionnaire on Health Information Searches Behavior of College Students under Public Health Emergency and distributed it to college students by forwarding it to QQ,We Chat and other social media.A total of 283 valid questionnaires were collected.Then,with the help of statistical analysis tool SPSS,this paper analyzes the types,information searching channels,motivations and influencing factors of college students' health information needs under public health emergencies,which provides a basis for the establishment of college students' health information searching behavior model under public health emergencies.Finally,the structural equation model was established and AMOS22.0 software was used to test the research conclusions quantitatively.The study found that the overall health status of college students in China is good,however,they face many health problems in public health emergencies.The main motivation for college students to search health information under public health emergencies is to self-diagnose the symptoms of diseases and learn about drug information and relevant emergency measures for self-treatment.In terms of search content,information about COVID-19 was the most searched(case data,symptoms,protection,vaccine development,etc.).From the search channel,college students mainly search through the network platform.The study verified that the factors of health information literacy,risk perception,health anxiety,convenience of medical treatment,social support and information source characteristics all had a positive impact on the health information seeking willingness of college students under public health emergencies.According to the research,it is necessary to put forward suggestions from the perspectives of students,society,colleges,information publishers and information regulators to improve the level of college students' health information searching.
