Since the resumption of the college entrance examination in 1977,this national,highly competitive talent selection system has passed over 40 years.From the very beginning of recovery,it has been regarded as a test to change fate,but with the continuous development of the country's overall strength,it has gradually become a comma in life.During this period,the society's attention,discussion and controversy on the college entrance examination have never stopped,and the mass media in our country have never stopped reporting on the college entrance examination.In 2019,the two films and TV plays on the subject of NMET once again triggered a great discussion about NMET in the society.The development and changes of the college entrance examination are closely related to the development and changes of the society.The changes of the college entrance examination reflect the changes of the society,and the development of the society promotes the reform and perfection of the college entrance examination.Based on this,this paper selects the college entrance examination report of China education newspaper,the most representative newspaper in the education industry,since 1984 as the research object,and uses van dijk's discourse theory as the basis to summarize the discourse change trend in the report.This paper divides the 36-year college entrance examination report into three phases: the experimental phase of college entrance examination reform,the phase of college entrance examination reform changing track,and the deepening phase of college entrance examination reform,and makes analysis from macro and micro perspectives.In the fourth part of the article,combined with the specific reporting context,the report is placed in the historical background to explore the changes in the characteristics of discourse.After analyzing the text perspective and the context perspective,the fifth part summarizes the discourse change trend since the three stages of NMET reporting.On this basis,at the end of the article,combined with social development,political and cultural factors and the media's own development factors,the author summarizes the factors that affect the changes in the media's college entrance examination reporting discourse.The change of news discourse can reflect the development and change of society,which in turn affects the change of news discourse.This article explores the relationship between social and news discourses through the discourse changes reported by China Education Daily in the past 36 years.
