Theoretical Analysis And Practice Discussion Of Smart Library

Since the beginning of the 21 st century,a new generation of information technology represented by artificial intelligence,Internet of Things,and cloud computing has emerged in human society.The emergence of these new technologies,while improving productivity,is also spawning new development methods.New technologies and concepts not only provides a broad space for the development of the librarianship,but also makes smart libraries gradually become a hot topic of library science research.The significance of this article is to understand the achievements and deficiencies in the development of smart libraries at this stage.Based on its evaluation and analysis,make theoretical analysis of smart libraries to further clarify the concept of smart libraries;In practice,the macroscopic construction concept is proposed to provide reference and guidance for the future development of the smart library.The article conducts research through literature method,survey method,logic method and other methods.First,it investigates the development of the theory and practice of smart libraries at home and abroad,and summarizes the achievements and shortcomings of smart libraries at this stage.Among them,it traces the formation process of smart library in theory,and proposes that smart library is an extension of the concept of smart planet and smart city in the field of library science.Summarize the current main areas of theoretical research are five aspects of definition,service and technology.The results achieved in practice are the use of automated equipment,the expansion of information acquisition channels and the optimization of space layout,but there are also problems with poor versatility,low facility utilization,and lack of evaluation standards.On the basis of the survey results,deconstruct the smart library from three aspects: cause,embodiment,and composition.It is concluded that the fundamental reason for its creation lies in the promotion of technology,theory,and demand;while the smart library is composed of service,management and Librarian composition;its smart is embodied in four aspects of perception technology,sensing technology,artificial intelligence,and librarian and user,in order to further clarify the concept of smart library.At the same time,it puts forward preliminary ideas for the future construction of the smart library.Four construction principles:puts people first,serves users lowers the threshold,strengthens functions highlights experiments,enlightens innovation and creates "smart" communities;Conceived four construction goals of overall construction standardization,regional exploration characteristics,user service empowerment,and precise management control.Phased construction plan with function construction,frame construction and system construction.Finally,the research results and shortcomings of this paper are summarized,and the future development of the smart library is prospected.
