Research On The Construction Strategy Of Smart Library Alliance

The development of library alliance has been a hot topic of research in the library sector since the 1990s,and after years of development has now developed into a multi-level,cross-system alliance of provincial public libraries,university libraries,science and technology institutes and other institutions in society.With the rapid development of the economy,library consortia have begun to suffer from duplication of resources,insufficient funding,low level of information technology and limited service targets.In 2008,the concepts of "Smart Earth" and "Smart City" were put forward one after another.Along with the information explosion and the changes in the information environment brought about by the advancement of communication technology,all industries are strengthening the application of new information technology in their own fields.As a symbol of urban civilization,libraries are following the wave of wisdom and exploring the transformation from traditional library services to smart library forms.Currently,technologies such as RFID,sensors and wireless networks have been put into practice in various library services,such as electronic reader cards,self-service lending and returning systems,smart bookshelves,AR interactive picture books and seat reservations.This also provides a new approach and a new way of thinking to solve the problems arising in the above-mentioned library alliances,i.e.to find a way of integration between smart libraries and library alliances,to help library alliances to achieve from collaborative construction to smart collaborative services,and ultimately to spread the results of library wisdom with minimal investment and maximum benefit.On the basis of sorting out relevant studies at home and abroad,this paper first briefly introduces the connotation,construction elements and forms of smart library alliances,then analyses the current situation of domestic and international research and summarizes the definition and characteristics of smart library alliances.At the same time,a survey and analysis of smart library alliances is conducted to explore the future development direction from the analysis of the current situation and problems.For the construction of smart library alliances,it is proposed to create a "core+expansion" alliance member development structure to aggregate advantageous resources;support the construction of smart library alliances with new technologies to create brand effects;use resource sharing as the basis for cooperation to jointly realize smart services;develop talent strategies to strengthen the sharing of human resources in alliances;establish cross-institutional The five strategies are to establish cross-institutional alliances and seek extensive cooperation Finally,the "Smart Library Collaborative Innovation Alliance" of Chongqing University is briefly introduced,its achievements and problems,and the corresponding suggestions for improvement are put forward.
