Study On The Current Situation Of Primary School Library Utilization And Countermeasures

Primary school library,as the school literature and information center,is an institution that serves the education and teaching of schools,which plays an important role in the construction of campus culture and students growth in primary schools.But the library utilization value doesn't sufficient play in teaching practice.Based on that,from the perspective of library utilization ratio,this paper mainly uses the methods of literature research,interview and questionnaire to study the utilization of primary school library with the following four parts:The first part is the topic selection basis,literature review,research methods,significance and core concept definition.The second part is the questionnaire and interview on the current situation of the primary school library.And the following problems are found as follows: the unsatisfactory of the students and teachers' actual needs toward the old infrastructure of the primary school library;library authority's limitation to “guard”,resulting in the unsatisfactory management of the primary school library;the low utilization rate of the primary school library with teachers and students' bias toward its use awareness and style;the limited service ability of primary school library with its function needs to be expanded.The third part analyses the problems deeply in the primary school library utilization,and finds that the lack of funds leading to the library infrastructure lag,the insufficient attention of the administrative departments at all levels to the primary school library resulting in the waste of resources,and the impact of advanced digital media,increasing the library function development difficulty.The fourth part puts forward optimization strategies for the existing problems in the current utilization of primary school library,including: actively and reasonably allocating the collection resources,enhancing the interaction between the libraries of each school;formulating a reasonable regulation system,paying attention to the cultivation of students' reading ability;improving the awareness of teachers and students to use the library by utilization mode innovation of library and constructs a library service function expansion system integrating education,service,consultation and promotion.On the basis of current primary school library utilization in-depth investigation,this paper puts forward optimization strategies that improves the current situation of the primary school library utilization,hoping that the research of this paper can improve its utilization,sothat it can integrate into the school teaching much better and match the school's quality education.
