Research On The TV Coverage Of National Day 70th Anniversary Military Parade Under The Ritual View Of Communication

As a typical military and political ceremony,military parade has existed in ancient times.The modern military parade,as a political ceremony,has more obvious features,especially in the integration of the nation power,society culture and individuals emotion into the whole,and the transformation into a highly influential political order.After decades of development,military parade of National Day has formed a complete set of symbolic system,which has become the symbol embodiment of the ceremony while Tian?anmen square,soldier and weapons,etc,which is a metaphor for the symbolic meaning and communication value of diversity.TV media through the form of live coverage,the full coverage of the National Day military parade in detail,no doubt makes this celebration into a special significance of the "media landscape".In order to explore the impact of the TV coverage of the 70th anniversary parade on the integration and maintenance of social community,this paper takes James Carey's concept of communication ceremony as the theoretical support and mainly analyzes from five chapters.The first chapter mainly introduces the research purpose,significance,literature review,content,method and innovation of this paper.The second part mainly introduces the concept of communication ceremony and related theoretical concepts of National Day parade celebration.On this basis,the relationship between the National Day 70th anniversary parade and communication ceremony is analyzed,which lays a theoretical foundation for the subsequent paper writing.The third chapter analyzes in detail the ritualized characteristics of the TV coverage of National Day parade from three aspects of National Day's 70th anniversary parade celebration,TV media and audience.The fourth chapter analyzes and interprets the ritualized(symbolic)symbols in the live TV report of the National Day military parade,and reveals the symbolic meaning of these linguistic symbols and non-linguistic symbols.The fifth chapter mainly studies and analyzes the ritualized communication value of National Day live TV coverage of military parade through national and social aspects,and then summarizes its role in shaping and strengthening the national identity and the integration and maintenance of social community.The sixth chapter mainly summarizes the enlightenment brought by the National Day military parade TV live report under the transmission ceremony viewing threshold,which provides reference for other celebration TV live activities.Through the study,it is found that under the view of transmission ceremony,the 70th anniversary of National Day military parade on live TV report as a national celebration,it is not just a military parade in the transfer of information or social members attitude change process,but by "invite" audience to participate in a parade,which has the ritualized feature,and they share the common feelings,meanings,beliefs,and values,etc.,to build a cultural "performance".In the specific context of the ritual setting,the participants describe and reinforce their identity,culture,values,etc.,and integrate and maintain the social order under the role of the newly formed "collective memory".
