With the rapid development of China's economy and the advancement of science and technology,traditional museums can no longer meet the spiritual needs of the people.In the information age,the transformation of traditional museums to smart museums promoted by making full use of digital information technology requires museums to take collection culture as the core,to be supported by the spirit of forging ahead,and to combine more digital technologies to create digital creative products beloved by people.This paper uses the methods of literature analysis,questionnaire survey and case analysis to discuss the development of digital creative products in Chinese museums,mainly taking small and medium-sized museums as research objects.The types of museum digital creative products can be divided into educational,entertainment,auxiliary and exhibition digital creative products according to their service functions.There are two basic modes of museum digital creative product development,namely independent development and cooperative development.The development of digital creative products in museums often adopts multiple combinations.The development of museum digital creative products should generally follow the principles of innovation,demonstration and diversification.The development of digital creative products in museums in our country has achieved remarkable achievements.The development volume has taken shape,the development system has been continuously improved,and the development ideas have emerged one after another.However,the operation mode has defects,the homogenization of products is obvious,and the development tendency is uneven.The above problems are caused by incomplete management mechanism,insufficient development experience and lack of professional talents.In order to solve those problems,the measures are as follows.Firstly,the museums can focus on the brand effect to dig out the characteristic IP element,rely on the new media marketing and highlight the technical superiority.Secondly,the museums should focus on the audience demands to develop the distinctive exhibition and display,increase the variety of highly interactive game product and provide the self-help auxiliary navigation equipment.Thirdly,the museums should take the system construction as the basis to change the development direction,construct the resources integration mechanism,widen the fund guarantee channel and strengthen the development strategy of high-level talent team to promote the development of digital creative products in Chinese museums.
