Abstract/Summary:
The chapter,sourcing from the data collected in archives and libraries for a long time,sums up the communication mode on the basis of Political Communication related books,papers,literature and historical data of the patriotic health movement at domestic and abroad before Economic Reform and open up,and takes the patriotic health movement in Jiangxi Province as the key example.It is not only a study on the view of communication mode,but also a historical research with local characteristics.The patriotic health movement in Jiangxi Province has the distinct characteristics of Chinese communication mode,which highlights the effect of patriotic health movement in Jiangxi Province,mainly performing in the aspects of environmental health and personal health.The research of communication mode and patriotic health must take history as a mirror,and the ultimate purpose is for the current communication mode and health work.Looking back into history,communication has been continuing,but there are more new models to replace the imperfect ones in the past.Health and medical career in China have also made achievements in the patriotic health movement,and some good systems are now used by the society.The chapter defines the concept of political communication mode and combs the historical origin of patriotic health movement and the health and medical situation in Jiangxi Province before Economic Reform and open up.The chapter mainly discusses from three communication modes,intra-organizational communication,mass communication,and interpersonal communication.The Communist Party of China is the core organization of the patriotic health movement,so the political communication system of inner-party is of prime importance.The study is conducted in terms of institution,system and form of internal organization.In the patriotic health movement,the Communist Party of China mobilized the enthusiasm of a large number of cadres and ordinary party members through political communication within the organization,and further mobilized the masses to launch and continue the movement.Compared with today’s mass media,the way of mass communication in China before Economic Reform and open up was still relatively weak,and the number of media was also small.However,it played a unique role in the political communication mode at that time because of the special environment and special period.The main feature is the party’s leadership over the media.The party’s leadership over the media has not only been further defined in theory,but also further strengthened in practice.In the discussion of communication mode of China,the mass media has more functions of political propaganda,running through from the idea of running presses to the organization system of newspaper and periodical office.Another important feature is the way of reporting.There are various forms of reports,such as comments,campaign reports,setting up models and other patterns,and strengthening the publicity effect.Interpersonal communication is a phenomenon of political communication among the masses in the patriotic health movement.The participants and audiences of this kind of communication are the masses,and the forms of communication are more diversified.Mass communication is rich and colorful,and it is closely combined with production and life,and its forms are flexible and diverse.The patriotic health movement with mass communication mode,such as cultural club,publicity team,learning group demonstrated the particularity of the political communication mode of China adequately.The three communication modes of the main body of this paper are not independent,but complement with each other and jointly promote the formation of Chinese political communication mode before Economic Reform and open up.Before Economic Reform and open up,a set of political communication mode with Chinese characteristics was formed and achieved a certain communication effect.Although in the period from The founding of the People’s Republic of China to the time before Economic Reform and open up,there were historical events and thoughts of “Cultural Revolution”,“left” and “great leap forward”,resulting in an overly positive attitude towards political communication at that time,ignoring the objective laws.However,based on the historical background at that time,the effectiveness of this set of Chinese political communication model can never be ignored.
