Under the guidance of the general framework of smart campus(GB/T 36342-2018),the construction of smart libraries in universities keeps emerging.Among them,it is natural to focus on exploring and studying how to protect ancient books that record the evolution of human society and production practices with the help of Internet of things and Internet technology.As is well-known,in addition to human destruction,other objective factors causing damage to ancient books include temperature and humidity,light,harmful gases and fire.Therefore,it is great significant to monitor and protect the indoor environment with ancient books.It is found that,as an ancient city of the world,xi'an has a low level of protection in the special collection rooms of ancient books in universities.Most of them adopt the traditional artificial timing observation method,while a few adopt the wired network collection and indoor fixed-point environmental monitoring method.The former has the problems of low precision and poor real-time performance,while the latter has low flexibility and difficulty problems in expansion due to its complex wiring and centralized power supply system.According to this situation,the paper based on the principle of economy,practice,and easy deployment,using the current mainstream of wireless communication technology.The rf chip with low power consumption and strong anti-interference ability is selected as the underlying wireless communication scheme,and the system of multi-point wireless transmission environment monitoring and data management is designed basing on the structure of Internet of things.The measuring node uses Arduino that it is an MCU,connecting the sensor of temperature,humidity,light,flame,SO2,and human body to measure physical quantities in ancient books library.NRF24L01 radio frequency module with frequency hopping function is adopted to realize wireless communication between measuring node and gateway.Raspberry PI is used as the gateway and lightweight Web server to manage the measurement nodes,storing and visualizing the data.Meanwhile,the Internet of things platform named One NET is connected in parallel to extend the system.The results show that this system has many advantages,such as low price,strong expansibility and easy to use.This system is very suitable for small and medium-sized ancient books library of environmental monitoring.Meanwhile,a new technical scheme is provided for the construction of smart library.
