Research On The Competitiveness And Influencing Factors Of Offshore Software Outsourcing In China

In service trade,software service outsourcing is an important part of service outsourcing.Undertaking offshore software outsourcing is an important part of the development of China's software industry.In recent years,China's software exports,in addition to software products,offshore software outsourcing also accounts for a relatively large part,accounting for about20%.This paper analyzes the current status and problems of China's software industry since this century,and compares it with India,a software service outsourcing country.The gap is large.Based on the data,the competitiveness level of China's offshore software outsourcing is calculated and the factors affecting the competitiveness of China's offshore software outsourcing are explored.An empirical analysis of the factors affecting the competitiveness of the industry is made by constructing a regression model.This article finds that after a short period of prosperity,the competitiveness of offshore software outsourcing in China has a downward trend with the rise of labor costs,but it still has strong competitiveness.Through regression analysis,it is found that the impact of labor costs and human capital on competitiveness is significant,while the impact of the country's network infrastructure level is very weak,and factors such as service trade openness and research investment are not significant.Although these factors are not significant,we still cannot ignore their role.Especially in the process of promoting the development of China's software industry to a high level,research and other factors must still be given sufficient attention.At present,China's software industry mainly undertakes some repetitive work or projects with low added value.In order to obtain higher added value for China's software industry,continue to innovate,increase value,and drive the development of the entire information industry.This article puts forward five suggestions: control or transfer costs and improve service quality;cultivate compound talents;Strengthen investment in scientific research and cultivate innovative capabilities of enterprises;strengthen the protection of intellectual property rights;expand the openness of trade in services.
