In economic globalization era, offshore software outsourcing is becoming a new trend in the international software outsource industry. At the same time, Offshore software outsourcing will bring the opportunity of globalization for our software development enterprises, and it will also be a platform for our software development enterprises to compete each other internationally.Software outsourcing development history is introduced in this thesis briefly at first, then it explores the characteristics of the offshore software outsourcing and analyses the procedure of offshore software outsourcing testing from the perspective of the software outsourcing suppliers on the topic of offshore software outsourcing testing. Through the experience of offshore software outsourcing testing, some testing strategies, organization structure, outsourcing relationships, and risk management are discussed, and the strategy and methodology for test management for offshore software outsourcing projects are suggested. The differences among different kinds of software testing models, autotest tools and version control tools, which provide reference for offshore software outsourcing testing, are compared and contrasted.The quality improvements of software development will be acquired by setupping bug tracking work flows; analysing the measurable data of defects, and forecasting defect probability. Through configuration management of testing and regression testing, it will upgrade the stability on testing version baseline and the successful rate of testing. At last, the real implementation of the research is dissertated according to the outsourcing software project management practices performed in VandaGroup.
