As the technology in the field of communication tracking radar becomes more and more mature,the application of waveguide slot antennas with a compact structure and easy processing is more widespread.The ultra-low sidelobes produced by waveguide slot antennas are very suitable for tracking radars of various aircraft and ships.Combined with its light weight and small size,waveguide slot antennas have attracted widespread attention in this field.In this thesis,combined with the needs of scientific research(actual)projects,an X-band single-pulse low-sidelobe waveguide slot array antenna is designed for use in an aircraft forward-looking tracking radar system.1.Using the basic theory of waveguide slot array antenna,based on the study and understanding of the three major equations of Elliott's waveguide slot design,the basic idea of planar antenna array design was drawn up.2.According to the requirements of antenna technical indicators,the antenna design scheme is demonstrated,and the antenna design is completed.The array unit,the power distribution network and the sum difference network were studied in depth.3.The calculation of the slot parameters,focusing on the analysis of the relationship between the slot offset,slot resonance length and S-parameters,by extracting parameters from a single slot,a slot model is established to simulate and extract its insertion loss.The antenna unit form is determined.4.Simulate and optimize the power distribution network and the sum network model.5.The integrated model of antenna unit,power distribution network and difference network are established.Through simulation analysis,structural adjustment and optimization,the technical specifications of the antenna meet the design requirements.6.The power capacity of the waveguide power distribution network is analyzed,and the impedance bandwidth is improved by optimizing the network.
