The aperture distribution of the flat array antenna is relatively easy to control,and it is easy to achieve high gain and low side lobes,which makes it attract more attention in the increasingly complex communication environment.This paper introduces the research background,significance and development status of rectangular slot-fed flat slot array antenna and microstrip array antenna,and uses this to study the technology of array antenna to increase gain and reduce side lobe.The research content is divided into the following two parts:1.Research on high gain low side lobe rectangular waveguide slot array antenna.The array antenna is radiating layer,coupling layer and feed layer from top to bottom.Among them:(1)The radiating layer has eight radiating units,each unit adopts BJ140 standard waveguide,on both sides of the centerline of the waveguide upper wall,Place8 parallel slot antenna elements alternately along the direction of the waveguide wall to form a linear array,and the interval between adjacent slots is fixed at half the wavelength of the waveguide;Reduce the H-plane sidelobe of the antenna;(2)The eight slot antenna elements in the coupling layer are placed at a certain angle along the center line,where the angle between each two adjacent elements and the center line are complementary and the distance is half a waveguide wavelength,then calculate the tilt angle in accordance with the Chebyshev distribution law in the same way,so as to reduce the E-side side lobe of the antenna;(3)The feed layer is composed of three HT power dividers to form a one-fourth power split feed network Capacitive step and capacitive column loading technology achieve impedance matching.2.Research on microstrip array antenna of parallel feed network.Firstly,the structure of the patch antenna array with 16-element interpolated feed is studied by simulation,and then 15 T type power splitters are cascaded to form a 16-point feed network.By reasonably adjusting the antenna,the specified maximum gain can be reached 18.9 d B,but the H-plane pattern has an offset of 1 ° in its maximum direction;then the structure of the feed network is changed,and the original design pattern can be offset.Adjust to the specified angle,at this time the maximum gain of the antenna is 19 d B.In contrast,the feed network of the second antenna is more compact,the total length of the feeder is significantly shorter,and its antenna area is only half of the first antenna.The results show that the design meets the requirements.
